This symbol says, “Freedom” in an archaic Chinese script. It is personally significant to me because during my life there have been times when, in the course of the psychiatric hospitalization I have undergone for schizophrenia, I have had my freedom taken away. I deeply value my freedom and I do not take it for granted.
